Extron has debuted its DTP2 T 211 twisted pair HDMI transmitter, providing distribution of HDMI and multichannel audio.
Bidirectional RS-232 and IR signals can be distributed up to 100 metres over a shielded CATx cable, accommodating the full 18 Gbps data rate of HDMI 2.0b and video resolution support up to 4K/60 at 4:4:4 colour sampling.
The transmitter includes remote power capability and supports deep colour up to 12-bit, CEC pass-through and embedded HD lossless audio formats.
DDC communication of EDID and HDCP is maintained between a source and display, allowing for compatibility and signal transmission between devices.
The transmitter can also be set to pass embedded digital audio, embedding analogue audio or automatically embedding the analogue audio when no digital audio is detected.
