WyreStorm to launch new range of matrix switchers at CEDIA 2019

WyreStorm will unveil its latest additions to its MXV series of matrix switchers, introducing four new models to distribute UHD video signals up to and including 2160p 4:4:4/60 or HDR at 12bit 4:2:2 up to 60Hz using HDBaseT from within a 1U chassis.

The range is comprised of a 4x8, 6x6, 8x8 and a 4x4 kit (with four receivers), featuring four additional mirrored HDMI outputs on some models with assignable audio outputs.

HDBaseT transmission of 4K/60 4:4:4 up to 70 metres is provided, with S/PDIF Toslink audio matrix outputs featuring a mute option.

60Hz HDR-10 and HLG is supported as well as Dolby Vision content at 30Hz over HDBaseT.

WyreStorm also announced two long-range models, the MXV-0606-H2A-70 and MXV-0808-H2A-70 to transmit 18Gbps content up to 70 metres.

The MXV range uses a compress/decompress technique to maintain signal integrity, with independent CEC triggering for all outputs, allowing up to 12 connected displays to be automatically or manually triggered based on source presence.

Users can also switch any zone “off” using AV mute or utilise a standby mode to allow the unit to be put into a low power state when not in use.
