Allen & Heath has widened the flexibility of its dLive mixing system with the launch of IP6 and IP8 fully-configurable and networkable remote controllers, and Waves V3 and gigaACE audio networking cards.
The IP6 and IP8 remote controllers interface with the dLive mixing system via standard TCP/IP connections and can be networked with other controllers, computers and third party devices using a standard Ethernet infrastructure.
The IP6 provides 6 push and turn rotary encoders and colour LCD displays, 19 programmable soft keys, as well as mic stand mounting options. The IP8 has 8 motorised faders and colour LCD displays, and 23 programmable soft keys.
Both controllers can be configured with up to 6 layers for access to several channels. Each supports PoE / PoE+ respectively for connecting via a single CAT5 cable for control and power. They are ideally suited for personal monitoring applications or installations needed limited control for day-to-day operators.
Allen & Heath’s Waves V3 audio networking card incorporates dLive I/O Port architecture to offer a 128x128 channel and 48/96kHz interface to the Waves SoundGrid platform. Its gigaACE card provides a 128x128 channel 96kHz point-to-point redundant link to another dLive mixing system, with no PC required.
