INFOBIT has expanded its collaboration and workspace portfolio with the launch of the iBox Core-500, a retractable table box designed to provide quick, discreet access to AV and USB connectivity in modern meeting environments.
Aimed at conference rooms, lecterns, and flexible collaboration spaces, the iBox Core-500 installs flush into a table surface and retracts when not in use, maintaining a clean, uncluttered appearance. INFOBIT says the design has been developed to balance ease of access with a professional finish that blends seamlessly into a wide range of furniture styles and interiors.
The unit supports surface depths of up to 75 mm, with a recommended cut-out size of 80 mm, making it suitable for most standard AV furniture installations. An under-table cable bag is included to conceal excess cabling below the surface, reducing visual clutter and simplifying installation.
Connectivity is built in, with the iBox Core-500 supplied as a complete solution including a 4K60 HDMI cable, USB 3.0 Type A to B, and a fully featured USB-C to C cable. The USB-C connection supports up to 20 Gbps data transfer, 240 W power delivery, and 4K60 video, reflecting the growing reliance on USB-C laptops in meeting spaces.
