Samsung launches Windows OS-based interactive self-service kiosk

Samsung has launched its KMC-W, an udpated Windows version of the Samsung Kiosk featuring an interactive 24-in display that brings improved software compatibility.

Built on the Windows 10 IoT Enterprise operting system, the KMC-W includes  a ‚shatterproof‘ film and UL-certified antimicrobial coating as well as an 11th gen Intel Core processor for compatibility with major ordering, point-of-sale and property management system software. 

The display is equipped with vrious CPU options, including a choice of Intel Celeron 6305E, Core i3 or Core i5 processors as well as 8GB DRAM memory and a 256GB SSD for improved storage capacity. 

The kiosk can be tailored for use in a variety of use cases, including as ID/passport scanners, external cameras, payment terminals and vending machines. 

The KMC-W can be affixed to  countertop, wll mount or stand, positioned anywhere to blend in with its surroundings.
