Tascam expands Dante line

Tascam has added two products – the ML-32D and ML-16D - to its line of Dante-enabled offerings.

The multichannel line level to Dante and Dante to line level interfaces are designed to provide connectivity between analogue and digital components.

They can connect 32 or 16 channels of audio between the analogue domain and Dante-enabled digital components, including the Tascam DA-6400, SS-R250N, and SS-CDR250 multichannel audio recorders.

The ML-32D and ML-16D do not offer features like mid-level microphone preamps, MADI and S/PDIF interfaces in an effort to reduce cost and complexity. They support digital audio at up to 24bit/96kHz, feature analogue line level I/O via D-Sub connectors (8 on ML-32D and 4 on ML-16D) and feature front panel LED meters to display both signal level and overload for each active channel.
