Hurrairah bin Sohail talks with 3S about how it employed new software products from Kramer to help ITE College West achieve its goals of a collaboration space for students on campus.
ITE College West is a division of the Institute of Technical Education. The field of focus for ITE College West is precision engineering, automotive technology and chemical process technology along with other disciplines.
Integrator 3S Communication has a lasting relationship with ITE having worked to deliver AV deployments for the education institute in the past. When the college decided to upgrade its facilities 3S was employed to provide results. The close relationship played its part as both the integrator and the end-user decided to embark on a new type of installation.
Jeffrey Lee, business director at 3S, talks about the aims and objectives of ITE College West: “The college wanted to enable collaboration in its learning spaces. For this purpose it decided to set up two classrooms with a range of solutions that would help achieve this aim.â€
He continues: “The collaborative classroom is a trend that has been emerging in the education sector and especially in Singapore. A number of other education institutes have collaboration spaces and ITE College West went down this route the better serve its students.â€
The specific areas of interest are Accounting and Finance Studio 1 and 2. 3S was in charge of the project and designed, deployed and commissioned the AV systems.
