According to the 59th edition of the IATA World Air Transport Statistics, international traf?c to, from and within the APAC region represented 42% of total international revenue passenger kilometres. Carriers registered in Asia Paci?c carried approximately 33% of the world’s passengers and the ?ve busiest international and domestic city-pair air routes were also all in the region.
