The winners across all categories of the Inavation Awards 2020 have been announced at an exciting evening of networking and celebration at the Beurs van Berlage in the heart of Amsterdam.
Our 12 winning projects came from 10 countries and represent the best examples of AV integration seen across the globe in the last year. Installations from China, Thailand and Singapore walked away with top honours in the Project Award categories and represented the APAC AV community.

This year saw the launch of the ISE sponsored Smart Systems Awards designed to promote the rise of Smart Buildings and encourage the development and application of intelligent building management and control systems. Vanti and AVN Solutions jointly won the award for their work at The Lodge, a luxury residence for Tottenham Hotspur football players and coaching teams.
We can also reveal that the Inavation Awards 2020 Project Manager of the Year is Andrea Piemonti, founder of ALA Equipment Company.
For the newly launched Business Award categories, winners were decided in consultation with buyers of AV technology and represent what they want to know about the companies they buy from.
With an ever-growing range of industry awards jostling to recognise AV products, buyers are understandably becoming confused as to which are properly judged and can be trusted as a benchmark of quality. Entrants are also increasingly using standard entry information across several awards schemes, which were very often short of Inavation Awards judges standards.
The new Business Awards have encouraged entries created specifically for this awards programme, were mostly far more detailed and of a higher quality than entries we received before and (most importantly) interested and engaged our judges.

Powersoft’s co-founder Claudio Lastrucci has won the first ever Industry Influencer award at the 2020 Inavation Awards. The award was created to celebrate an individual who has contributed a huge amount to the AV world. Lastrucci is the mastermind behind the company’s R&D department, and has been a pioneer of Class D amplification.
