Analog Way will show its Vio 4K multi-format converter at Prolight + Sound 2017 from April 4 to 7, 2017 in Frankfurt, Germany.
The company will exhibit on stand B26 where it will show optional interfaces for Vio 4K that are able to support 4K60 4:4:4, and the Ascender 48 - 4K - PL, a multi-screen seamless switcher based on the LiveCore platform.
It will demonstrated version V04 of its LiveCore series of 4K video processors on the Ascender 48 – 4K – PL.
The multi-screen seamless switcher has 48 scalers, 12 inputs, 4 outputs, and 6 seamless scaled layers. It also offers a native background layer per output, along with three perspective layers per output through the Perspective Layers feature available for all Ascender 48 - 4K - PL and Ascender 32 - 4K – PL units. This mode allows animation of live layers with a virtual viewing perspective in real time with X, Y, Z axis rotation control.
LiveCore improvements will also be highlighted during the show. The new version allows the support of the output AOI (Area Of Interest) and the Custom Canvas mode, to combine outputs into a specific screen pixels area, both especially useful for LED well configurations.
VIO 4K includes three slots for optional I/O interfaces. Four new optional expansion modules will be presented during the show. In addition to the audio processing module with professional XLR analogue and AES/EBU audio connections, VIO 4K is now available with a Dante audio interface supporting up to eight bidirectional Dante audio channels.
One video expansion module is equipped with HDMI 2.0 and DP 1.2 input/output plugs that can handle formats up to 4K60Hz 4:4:4. The second module can convert HDMI 2.0 or DP 1.2 to either Quad-Link 3G-SDI or 12G-SDI, and vice versa while supporting formats up to 4K60Hz 4:4:4. The third module option adds additional outputs supporting formats up to 4K30Hz. When fully equipped, VIO 4K features up to 9 inputs and 3 scaled outputs.
