Dinesh D’Souza has been appointed as country manager for India for Burland Technology Solutions.
He will be responsible for promoting the brand and products of Burland across India and his main focus will be to service MEP consultants, contractors and end users in commercial spaces. These include data centres, offices, schools, hospitals and retail space.
Burland have been operating on an ad hoc project basis in India since 2001. Working with Indian partners for fulfilment has proven successful in the past, but it was felt that a country manager was needed to assure potential clients of our commitment to the Indian market and to establish a permanent brand presence. Burland also needed to obtain more detailed market feedback and intelligence and the appointment is expected to fulfil that.
D'Souza commented: “Having seen the fantastic products and projects completed by Burland in many countries as well as India, I am eager to get our message out to major occupiers throughout India. Burland and Electropatent only manufacture products of the highest quality, some with 25 year warranties, so will only appeal to clients with an eye for quality, longevity and carbon footprint. Notwithstanding, I am sure there are sufficient numbers of businesses and professionals who fit this niche. It is an exciting time for me bringing best global practices and designs to the Indian market. I look forward to meeting many new clients in the end user, MEP, electrical and pro AV sector.”
