LG Display is showing a 65-in UHD rollable OLED display at CES 2018 in Las Vegas, January 9 to 12, 2018.
The product stands alongside an already hyped
88-in 8K panel on the Korean technology company’s stand where it also demonstrated improvements to its Crystal Sound OLED technology that makes sound emanate directly from the panel.
Its new 65-in panel can be rolled up and hidden when not in use and moved or stored out of sight in a compact box and builds on a
77-in flexible and transparent panel we spotted in July last year.
LG has indicated that the screen can also be partially unrolled, demonstrating it in use as a product to show dashboard information such as a calendar or the weather and news headlines. It is reported that the unit can be resized with the aspect ratio changeable via a button.
