Christie announced the completion of its 150th permanent projection mapping project with the upgrade of the projection systems deployed at the Old Fort in Delhi, India.
Three Crimson WU31 3DLP laser projectors power the projections on the walls of the monument.
Moreover, the Christie Crimson Series projectors are deployed and feature an IP5X-sealed, solid-state laser light source along with the processing of Christie TruLife electronics and Christie Twist.
The projectors were installed and commissioned by Modern Stage Service.
Varinder Wadhwa, director of Modern Stage Service, commented: “We’re thrilled to witness our valued end user’s enduring loyalty to the Christie brand for over a decade as it transitions from lamp to laser, bringing forth even more spectacular visual experiences for audiences.”
Rishubh Nayar, sales director for India, Enterprise, Christie, said: “We’re delighted that our Crimson Series projectors are rejuvenating the son et lumière at the Old Fort. This milestone, marking our 150th permanent projection mapping project and revisiting the site of our first outdoor mapping show in India, adds even more significance and sentiment to the occasion.”
