Crestron appointments across Asia Pacific

Crestron has announced a number of appointments in key roles across Asia Pacific.

Jacques Bertrand will take up the role of vice president of sales Asia. He will be based in Singapore and previously served as Barco’s senior vice president of sales.

Frank Xiao has been appointed as the executive director NE Asia and China. He will be based in Shanghai and is well known to the NEA market having spent his career with Harman, Barco and Christie. Xiao will manage the continued expansion in China, HK, Korea, Macau and Japan.

Jade Coote has been appointed as marketing manager Asia Pacific. She will be based in Sydney and comes to Crestron from Somfy. Coote will be responsible for new initiatives in dealer and digital marketing across the region.

These appointments come after the announcement that Thomas Marcher will be taking up the position of executive director for Southeast Asia.

Stuart Craig, CEO Asia Pacific at Crestron, commented: “The last three years in Asia Pacific have been a tremendous success. We have invested a lot of time and resources in this region. We have been building new offices, creating Experience Centres for our customers, new training facilities, new support programs and we now have a staff of over 300 in the region. Every which way you look at it, this program has been very successful. We are very proud of our team and all they continue to achieve."
