dnp Supernova screen used at Beijing Cancer Hospital

Beijing Cancer Hospital is one of the largest of its kind in China and specialises in the field of cancer research and treatment. The hospital recently installed dnp screens at its lecture hall which is used for broadcasting live surgery within a surgery training environment, as well as research, conference and surgery discussion.

The hospital consulted with Wincom Technology, dnp’s partner in China, and it recommended a large dnp Supernova Core Screen. The screen chosen measures 6.3m x 1.5m and fits ion a 10m x 2.8m wall. This is run in conjunction with three 6,000 lumens HD projectors with edge blending.

A number of source inputs are fed to the screen. These include local laptop devices, video and X-ray image output from visualizers all of which required sharp visual acuity. The setup also accommodates distance learning.

Betty Liany from Wincom said: “Although other companies also recommend different solutions, the customer chose us after bidding and contrast demonstrations. They trusted our recommendation.”

Chen, the project director of Beijing Cancer Hospital, said: “As a result of the screen the image quality is superb, and the service from Wincomn Technology exceptional.”
