DVI officially awarded its newly established scholarship to two electronics engineering students at the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) at a ceremony held on Jan 24, 2024 at ITE Central.
The scholarship is part of a 5-year agreement between DVI and ITE, demonstrating DVI's commitment to foster talent and contribute towards AV and IoT education in Singapore.
The scholarship, with an estimated total value of over SGD 20,000, will benefit two ITE students, each receiving two annual bond-free scholarships worth SGD 2,000 yearly. The funds are intended to serve as a monthly allowance for students from courses relating to audio visual and Internet of Things (IoT).
Director of DVI, Chris Chong, said: “Singapore has been good to us, and we want to give back to Singapore in a meaningful way, not just financially but by working with ITE to mentor the next generation of AV and IoT professionals.”
