Sennheiser hosted a two-day open house at its new office in Singapore and demonstrated the capabilities of its latest solutions on 3rd August and 4th August 2023.
Located at Solaris @ Kallang 164, the new office space is significantly larger signalling the brand’s expansion in the APAC region.
John Oh, sales director for Sennheiser Business Communications in Southeast Asia, detailed the choice for moving into a new office: “This decision had been in the works for a while. First and foremost, we wanted to have an office space where we could gather everyone together and call it a home.”
Oh elaborated: “We also wanted to have a physical space in which we could install and showcase our very own solutions to our customers. The new office has a board room and a few meeting rooms, in which we integrated our video bars and ceiling microphones. Through casual events like today’s open house, we aim to continue inviting our customers to experience our solutions for themselves. What you see in this office may change from time to time, depending on our latest product launches.”
Noting the brand’s intentions to expand the team further, Oh said: “Naturally, as we move forward, we feel that we have a lot of roles to play in the market. In terms of sales, we are a mature brand in the Southeast Asia region. So, we are looking for a few more technical experts that can help our customers in the APAC region. We are determined to build a stronger team to serve the market better.”
The open house attracted a range of system integrators and end users, all eager to experience and test out the latest advancements in Sennheiser’s TeamConnect solutions.
Sennheiser displayed its newest line up of featured products, namely the TeamConnect Bar S, TeamConnect Bar M, TeamConnect Ceiling Medium and TeamConnect Ceiling 2. The spaces also highlight how Sennheiser’s range of products fit together with solutions from Q-SYS and other vendors to create effective communication and collaboration spaces.
The highlight of the event was the live demonstrations conducted by the Sennheiser team.
In particular, the TC Bar solutions stood out with its all-in-one offerings to the market. Boasting a 4K Ultra HD camera enhanced by AI features such as auto-framing and person tiling, the device also uses Dante inputs to add extension microphones and has a built-in DSP.
Oh remarked: “We are proud to say that we are the first in the world to build a video bar like this. The TC Bars encompass an ecosystem comprising our previous TC solutions, so the DNA of the TC spirit still remains. I think this is a very exciting product, especially in a very saturated market. But, we are trying to do something different with all our products.”
Looking towards the future of Sennheiser’s growth, Oh concluded: “We are going across the region to do more product launches of our TC Bars and other solutions. Be it in hotels or Sennheiser’s international offices, we will be openly showcasing our solutions in Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines and Vietnam. Through this, we hope to reach more customers and gain greater exposure for our products.”
