Sony’s booth at InfoComm 2016 highlighted additions to its range of PTZ cameras including the SRG-120DU and the SRG-360SHE.
The company’s SRG-360SHE 30x robotic model adds power over Ethernet (PoE+) and triple simultaneous video and audio streaming (embedded audio in IP, HDMI and 3G-SDI). Suited for webcasting whilst recording live events, it offers simultaneous output of 1080/60p baseband video through the three streaming outputs.
The camera also provides Semi-Synchronous Simultaneous Motion to improve transitions between subjects and a Slow P/T setting for tracking of objects or people. Its PTZ Trace Memory additionally allows users to store a sequence of camera movements as a preset which can later be replicated.
Sony’s first USB 3.0 PTZ camera, the SRG-120DU, features incorporates Sony’s 1/2.8 -type Exmor CMOS sensor and its latest View-DR technology. The HD model also provides UVC video compatibility and a wide field of view, even in challenging lighting conditions.
