When Taipei Municipal Zhongxiao Junior High School sought to upgrade its audio and video capabilities, it had a clear idea regarding the requirements. The school wanted to implement IP based network controllable systems.
The school has varied time schedules and needed the PA system to announce messages and ring the school bell automatically by hour, day and specified time. TTS function was required to execute audio broadcasting, enhancing the school’s operation efficacy.
The BXB ICP-5000 video and audio PA system was chosen to meet the needs of the school. It is constructed with a single cable for transmitting image, audio, and control signals via standard TCP/IP.
There are 24 classrooms with ICP-5011 IP decoders and WS-817L two-way speakers, 23 special-subject classrooms with WS-817ALM teaching speakers and 34 administration offices with WS-665T box speakers. These rooms all work with ICP-3050 Multi-channel Audio Processor and ICP-5072 Graphical Software for satisfying the demands of bilingual teaching.
The choice of the BXB PA system also gives the school the option to expand systems for multimedia teaching and text broadcasting without the need for extensive reconstruction or replacement.
