The Van Gogh Vietnam experience has been empowered Vioso-enabled immersive installations, sitting at the heart of a comprehensive visitor experience.
With 25 cameras, nine servers, 70 projectors and extensive video mapping, the Vincent Van Gogh experience in Ho Chi Minh City uses Vioso’s camera-based auto-alignment technology, calling on a Vioso team to design and calibrate the multi-projector set-up at the heart of the exhibition.
Held across the 3,800m2 Gigamall shopping centre in Ho Chi Minh City, the Van Gogh Art Lighting Experience uses a combination of projection mapping, VR and 3D audio to explore the famed artist’s career, represented by more than 900 works on virtual display.
One standout area, the ‘Vincent’s Soul’ installation, uses large scale video mapping to immersive visitor’s into the artist’s work, equipped with 70 projectors which are calibrated using Vioso6 software and dozens of calibration cameras which create an immersive room with artworks mapped 360 degrees across the walls and floor.
