ADI conducts information session for LEA Professional products in Sydney, Australia

ADI conducted an exclusive information session for LEA Professional in Sydney, Australia providing the opportunity to meet the founder and discover what’s new with the manufacturer’s products and solutions. The event was attended by AV professionals in person and proceedings were also streamed for online attendees.

Blake Augsburger, CEO and founder of LEA Professional, led the session and shared how the business and product roadmap that the manufacturer seeks to implement for the coming future.

LEA Professional is a manufacturer of amplifiers, signal processors, and control solutions for experiential sound with seven years of operations under its belt. As a manufacturer, it has a focus on integrators and a commitment to open architecture and true two-way cloud operability.

Two-way cloud operability is the core differentiator for LEA Professional products; Augsburger commented: “What sets LEA apart is that our cloud platform offers native, bi-directional control, and we have fully optimized our telemetry data flow. That data optimization keeps our ongoing infrastructure overhead manageable while offering full control capabilities to the end user and integrator.”

He continued: “If telemetry data streams are unoptimized, cloud operation costs can escalate rapidly. Our platform delivers true real-time control — letting a user adjust an installation in New York from anywhere in the world as quickly as if they were standing in the equipment rack room — while keeping data overhead fully sustainable.”

The United States accounts for 70% of LEA’s business with the international marketing making up the remaining 30%. ADI is LEA’s largest customer worldwide.

Augsburger explains why the partnership is pivotal to LEA: “We work extensively with ADI in the US for both the commercial and residential markets. It has been an exceptional partnership. Commercial audio is a core focus, and our product line complements their existing portfolio very well. A major advantage for us is that our API seamlessly integrates with platforms like Control4.”

He continued: “We’ve been partnered with ADI for at least five years now. The majority of that volume is in the US, but with ADI leading efforts here in Australia and our engagement with their teams in Europe, we’re excited about the global trajectory. We treat it as a true two-way partnership: we do everything possible to help them build their business, and they actively drive ours.”

LEA Professional’s plans for the future are focused on growth. The manufacturer is actively targeting both commercial and residential applications. On the commercial front, LEA Professional began by targeting the hospitality vertical. Now, the manufacturer is looking to build on its success and expand into adjacent verticals such as attractions, entertainment, large venues, and theme parks. Product development and the solution roadmap are following suit.

LEA Professional has launched the Connect Series Glass remote controller for residential and commercial applications. Designed for aesthetics and functionality, the device comes with Bluetooth connectivity for audio streaming, simplifying deployment for integrators.

New amplifiers from LEA Professional are also expected to be released in the latter half of 2026. According to Augsburger, these models will come equipped with increased capabilities to help expand the verticals and application where LEA amplifiers can be specified and deployed.

Augsburger said: “There are specific form factors we plan to add — such as a dedicated single-channel amplifier for low-frequency drivers, or high-channel-density units like 16- or 32-channel models at 50W to 150W per channel. However, our core philosophy remains unchanged across all markets and verticals: maximum simplicity, streamlined setup, and automated control. Whether an integrator is working in a residence or a commercial facility, intuitive deployment is equally beneficial.”

Speaking about the initiative by ADI to host and facilitate the session, Augsburger commented: “Audio equipment with extensive DSP and cloud feature sets can feel overwhelming to an integrator initially. Hands-on training demystifies the software and shows how straightforward deployment actually is. Furthermore, conducting head-to-head listening tests is our most effective sales tool — the sonic performance speaks for itself. Building global brand equity is essential. In international markets — particularly across ANZ, Asia Pacific, and China — brand reputation and track record open doors to premier projects.”
