AVIXA and SNDT Women’s University have signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen academic collaboration with the AV industry in India.
The partnership brings together SNDT Women’s University initiatives on women’s education and empowerment with expertise from AVIXA to share industry knowledge, emerging AV trends, and practical learning opportunities for students.
Dr. Sachin Laddha, director – innovation, incubation and linkages, SNDT Women’s University, commented: “Education becomes truly meaningful when students can connect with reality and keep a check on what they learn in the classroom with the world outside it.
“We are glad to have this memorandum signed with AVIXA. More so, this initiative will help us create strong and greater opportunities for our students who aspire to further strengthen their career in the field of technology.”
The collaboration will help students to explore initiatives across industry skill development, training, workshops, expert interactions, knowledge exchange, and industry exposure, providing placement opportunity with organisations in AV systems integration and manufacturing across India.
Both parties will curate a curriculum to help students gain industry knowledge, organise mentorship programs, industrial visits and hands-on training opportunities alongside educational events which are aligned with changing industry requirements.
