Biamp streamlines distribution in Australia and New Zealand

Biamp has streamlined its distribution model for Australia and New Zealand where Jands will distribute the full line of the manufacturer’s products in the countries effective January 2020.

Following the acquisition of Apart Audio and Community Loudspeakers, the change in Biamp's distribution model is intended to enable the company to more aggressively pursue opportunities in all target geographies and vertical markets: corporate, food service and hospitality, retail, large venues, education and religion, sports and leisure, and outdoor applications.

Rashid Skaf, Biamp president, CEO, and co-chairman, said: “Through our partnership with Jands, we are able to offer customers in the region our full product portfolio from a single distributor — including Apart retail and hospitality loudspeakers, Community large venue loudspeakers, and Cambridge Sound Management solutions. Our customers there will now have a single point of contact, giving them access to superior service, complete solutions, and an exceptional experience."

Geoff Smith, general Manager at Jands, said: "We're proud to be chosen to represent Biamp's full line of products in Australia and New Zealand. We've worked together for almost two years, building a great relationship. I'm looking forward to further growing the business, especially with the addition of loudspeakers for installed sound applications now available from Biamp."
