Christie will showcase its latest advancements in cinema projection at the Beijing International Radio, TV and Film Exhibition (BIRTV), taking place August 19 to 22 at the China International Exhibition Center.
Visitor will be able to discover a new generation of CineLife+ series projectors engineered to elevate presentation quality while helping exhibitors maximise efficiency and reduce operating costs.
Headlining the showcase is the China debut of the Christie CP4420m-RGBH, a hybrid RGB pure laser and phosphor projector featuring CineLife+ electronics, a 0.98-in 4K SST DMD, and Christie Phazer illumination technology. Designed for screens up to 19m wide, this compact, all-in-one projector aims to combine bright, clear 4K images with DCI-P3 colour, installation flexibility, long-term reliability, and a low total cost of ownership.
Attendees can experience a live demonstration of the CP4420m-RGBH paired with the Christie CineLife+ IMB-S4 integrated media block, enabling secure, DCI-compliant playback of feature film content in a streamlined environment.
Also on display will be the Christie CP4435-RGB pure laser cinema projector, which aims to bring premium presentation capabilities to mainstream theatres. Powered by CineLife+ electronics and Real|Laser illumination technology, the projector is capable of delivering 35,000 lumens and is suited for for screens up to 27m.
Complementing the lineup is the Christie CP2411-RBe, a 2K-resolution, 11,000-lumen model built on the CineLife+2K electronics platform. Well suited for boothless installations and small-screen venues, it leverages Christie Phazer illumination technology to achieve 170% greater energy efficiency than comparable Xenon systems while delivering 9.4 lumens per watt.
