Optoma India has announced that it has achieved a 21.52% market share in Q1 2026 in the 6,000-10,000 lumens, pro AV market.
Industry channel sales data from PMA placed Optoma as the leading 1 DLP projector brand in the entry pro AV segment (6,000 lumens to below 10,000 lumens, all resolutions) in Q1 2026.
In Q1 2025, Optoma achieved a 9.39% market share, increasing its unit shipments in absolute numbers three times over, reflecting a 165% year-on-year increase in Q1 2026.
Optoma delivered 129% quarter-on-quarter growth from Q4 2025, with the company’s market share rising by 130.2% in a single quarter, a pace that Optoma claims outstripped overall market expansion.
Vijay Sharma, managing director, Optoma Technology India, commented: “The Entry Pro AV segment, defined as projectors in the 6,000 to 10,000 lumen brightness range across all resolutions, serves large-venue applications in hospitality, museums, auditoriums, and corporate environments and represents one of the most strategically important categories in the Indian professional AV market. Total segment volumes grew by 15% from Q1 2025 to Q1 2026, reflecting healthy and sustained demand for high-brightness projection solutions across the country. Within this growing market, Optoma almost doubled its market share from 9.39% to 21.52%.”
