Hi-Tech Audio & Image worked with Kadence Academy of Audio and Lights to deliver a specialised training programme focussed on immersive lighting and specialist programming.
The two-day training programme involved AV professionals with the goal of extending practical knowledge of pixel mapping, DMX lighting control, and advanced programming techniques.
While many integrators attending the course are familiar with conventional lighting systems, whereas pixel-based lighting introduces a new level of technical expertise and creativity.
Yash Gupta, vice president sales marketing, Hi-Tech Audio & Image, spoke exclusively to Inavate: “Everything starts with a strong foundation. Once you understand the basics, you can move towards more advanced workflows like time coding and networking.”
Yash highlighted the importance of reliability, particularly in permanent architectural installations, where lighting systems are expected to perform for years without interruption. Yash highlighted that choosing dependable hardware is just as important as deep knowledge of the software, especially where installations are located in difficult-to-access environments where maintenance can be costly and disruptive.
Yash adds: “Many people confuse pixel-based lighting with DALI lighting, but DMX is a completely different ecosystem. It gives programmers the flexibility to create their own show files, manage a wide range of fixtures and build immersive visual experiences.”
