Hitachi launches range of hospitality displays

Hitachi has launched a range of 32-in to 65-in ultra HD and full HD hospitality displays that are compatible with existing coax and data cable infrastructures.

The displays can be connected to Hitachi’s hospitality content management solution (CMS) or to third party software. The Hitachi CMS enables managers to have visibility of, and control over all in-room screens from a single central location and provides a fully customisable Guest User Interface (GUI).

They are available in a variety of finishes including white and black colour cabinets, and alternative base stand options.

Hitachi is offering 32-in, 43-in, 50-in, 55-in, 58-in and 65-in displays with embedded Bluetooth connectivity. The displays’ integrated Software Access Point (SoftAP) extends the wireless coverage areas, enabling guests to use Miracast screen mirroring.

Dual Audio Output allows the TVs’ sound to be connected to the bathroom and other parts of the room with Bluetooth speakers.

The displays’ cloning mode supports TV set-up, allowing user-configured settings to be copied from the server to some or all the on-site displays.

When integrated with a property management system (PMS), the Hitachi CMS supports a centralised, two-way communications platform through which properties can extend and build on their front desk capabilities, with an interactive digital concierge service. This integration can also facilitate a more convenient check-out process, allowing guests to review and securely settle their bills through their in-room displays.
