Audio-Technica has introduced its latest offerings in the microphone and conferencing market at Prolight + Sound 2016.
The company gave its first showing to the ATM350a cardioid condenser clip-on microphone – featuring increased SPL handling for use on instruments including strings and piano.
The ATM350a is introduced alongside the AE2300 dynamic cardioid instrument microphone, featuring double-dome diaphragm construction for high-frequency and transient response. It also is presenting its ATM230 hypercardioid dynamic instrument microphone for capturing drums and percussion. Its hypercardioid polar pattern reduces pickup of sounds from the sides and rear to isolate the main sound source.
Audio-Technica’s stand additionally highlights its E40, E50 and E70 models of in-ear monitor headphones, suited to sound professionals and musicians located in musical environments.
It expanded its conference system offering with the ATUC-50 digital discussion system, featuring multi-mode operation, a 12-band feedback suppressor, on-board four-channel recorder and translation channel. Up to 150 discussion units can be connected in either daisy chain or ring topology and controlled from any web browser using Cat5 cables.
The company showcased its system 10 wireless microphone desk stand transmitter and boundary mic / transmitter – the ATW-T1007 and ATW-T1006 – for conference environments and meeting rooms.
Audio-Technica is exhibiting at Hall 4.0, stand C23 at Prolight + Sound 2016 in Frankfurt until Friday 8 April, 2016.
