G&D will showcase KVM-over-IP systems as well as compatible ones supporting classic, dedicated cabling at ISE 2017.
Systems support uncompressed or compressed video transmission for resolutions up to 8K via Cat, fibre optics or over IP.
The company’s KVM extender DP1.2-Vision-XG extends computer signals up to 10,000m thereby transmitting 4K or 8K video at 60 Hz pixel by pixel. The latter is carried out over up to four synchronous video cannels. Dedicated transmission takes place over fibre optics to provide sufficient bandwidth for uncompressed DisplayPort signals, video, keyboard/mouse, RS232, USB 2.0 and audio.
KVM extender DP-Vision1.2 works over fibre optic or Cat cables and extends computer signals up to 10,000m or 140m respectively.
G&D has also announced Level 3 of its HDIP compression method, claimed to deliver loss-free transmission of video signals with a resolution of 4K at 60Hz.
The company has also replaced DVICenter with its ControlCenter-Compact matrix module. It is available in six expansion levels providing between 8 and 80 ports, which can be used either as input or as output. The device is compatible with DVICenter, ControlCenter-Digital and end devices. The matrix switch provides Screen-Freeze function and a redundant power supply.
G&D has also updated its CrossDisplay-Switching function so that multiple monitors can be used from various sources. Computers with multihead video are supported and scenarios from various sources can be displayed at one workstation. The monitors can be placed in any order.
ISE will take place at the Amserdam RAI, February 7 to 10.
