JBL Professional has introduced the PRX800W high-powered portable PA system with wireless control and DSP.
It can be set up and configured from a mobile tablet using the PRX Connect mobile app for iOS and Adroid that offers control over functions such as 8-band parametric EQ, speaker delay, mute and gain.PRX Connect also allows offline configuration that can be saved for future set up.
The PA has integrated 1500-watt Class-D power amplification and uses patented JBL Differential Drive woofer technology. Tuning is updated and the all-wood cabinets feature durable tongue-in-groove joints, DuraFlex protective finish and dent-resistant 16-gauge steel grilles.
A redesigned Crown input panel offers XLR, ¼-in and RCA inputs plus XLR loop-through and professional outputs and it uses Dbx Type IV limiting. An intelligent variable-speed fan cools the system as needed. PRX800W systems can be scaled by adding additional speakers, and they offer seamless integration with other JBL powered PA systems.
