Symetrix has debuted its xIO Bluetooth, a single gang, Dante-enabled Bluetooth endpoint which uses a Bluetooth 5.0 chipset, available in both an EU and US form factor.
IP control and PoE power is included, allowing for installation via a single cable connection from the Xio Bluetooth to a PoE enabled network switch.
The xIO Bluetooth can also be configured to allow media-only connectivity, phone bridge connectivity or both.
Each aspect of the xIO Bluetooth control can be controlled using Symetrix remotes, SymVue panels or third-party control systems.
The endpoint is also an integrated member of the Symetrix xIO family of Dante endpoints, which allows for control and configuration of the device, including Dante routing, via Symetrix Composer software.
All aspects of the endpoint are fully configurable, including the Bluetooth friendly device name, Dante channel names, connect/reconnect functionality and security.
