WyreStorm's EX-35-H2 extender now offers 18Gbps support

WyreStorm has launched the EX-35-H2 extender to deliver 4K/60 4:4:4 or HDR content, along with bidirectional control and 2-way PoH up to 35m/115ft or 1080p to 70m/230ft for commercial applications.

WyreStorm has implemented its VLC chipset (Visualy Lossless Compression) into this model is it is future-proof for 60Hz HDR and 4:4:4 60Hz.

It is suitable for use in government, live venues, education and corporate installations.

It is compatible with the latest HDR standards, including HDR-10+, HLG content, with support for Dolby Vision up to 30Hz, supports all VESA resolutions within the HDMI 2.0 specification, and features re-clocking chipset increases compatibility with new 4K UHD source devices.

It offers bidirectional IR and RS-232 pass-through, supports CEC communication between devices, and comes in a 21mm/0.83in chassis for easier, more convenient installation behind displays.

It offers 2-way PoH (Power over HDBaseT) enabling either transmitter or receiver to be remotely powered by the other unit. It supports 2ch PCM and 7.1 multichannel audio up to DTS:X and Dolby Atmos and is HDCP 2.2 compliant.
