Analog Devices, Singapore

Contending with global stock issues and the resulting design changes as well as navigating the waters of shifting timelines, ESCO details how it fitted out Analog Devices’ workplace with quality AV.

Analog Devices is a global semiconductor leader that seeks to bridge the physical and digital worlds to enable breakthroughs at the intelligent edge. For the deployment of technology at its workspace in Singapore, Analog Devices engaged Communications Design Associates as the consultant and ESCO served as the integrator. ESCO’s involvement with the project encompassed the installation, configuration, as well as the testing and commissioning of AV equipment.

Jack Chong from ESCO details the requirements put forward by Analog Devices: “The brief for the project was to enhance communication and collaboration capabilities within the client's Singapore offices through a comprehensive overhaul of their AV systems.”

Chong continues: “The end user's expectations for the project were to have a comprehensive and high-quality AV solution implemented across various types of meeting spaces within their Singapore offices. They aimed to enhance communication and collaboration capabilities throughout the organisation, fostering a conducive work environment aligned with their global leadership with integrated solutions and systems. This encompassed the deployment of advanced AV technology in open collaboration spaces, BYOD conference rooms, small and extra-large meeting rooms, combined split rooms, cafe all-hands areas, digital signage installations, and the VP's office. The end user expected these solutions to enable seamless meetings, presentations, and collaborative work, ultimately enhancing productivity and efficiency in the workplace.”

From Chong’s statements it is evident that communication and collaboration was a key focus for Analog Devices’ workspace.

Cognisant of the fact that modern communication and collaboration has evolved, the workplace comprises a wide variety of spaces ranging from open collaboration areas, BYOD conference rooms, small meeting rooms, extra-large meeting rooms, combined split rooms, cafe all-hands spaces, digital signage installations, and the VP office. In each space, ESCO integrated high-quality AV equipment to enable efficient communication and productivity.

Diversity of display end points and collaboration devices enable function across the spaces. In general, LG flat panel displays serve to provide visuals while Logitech devices enable UC&C. Open collaboration areas are equipped with 50-in LG displays and advanced Crestron AV equipment to facilitate seamless teamwork and communication. BYOD conference rooms feature 43-in LG displays paired with Logitech Rally Bar Mini units and other peripherals to support versatile meetings.

Small meeting rooms include a 65-in LG display, Lenovo PC, and Logitech Rally Bar, creating a well-rounded AV setup. Extra-large meeting rooms are equipped with the Logitech Rally Display Hub and a 98-in LG 4K Display, a nod to the premium nature of the spaces and selected to ensure smooth presentations for large gatherings. For combined split rooms, QSC cameras and LG displays were chosen to allow flexibility during events requiring spacious environments. The cafe all-hands area was transformed with LG UHD displays, QSC cameras, Logitech Tap, and more AV equipment to cater for various purposes and functions.
