AI is revolutionising video collaboration

In today's digital age, effective communication is paramount, and videoconferencing has emerged as a crucial tool for connecting people across distances. A&T Video Networks, a pioneer in videoconferencing industry since 1998, has been at the forefront of innovation in this field.

A&T is also the national distributor for many leading brands. It designs and manufactures a wide range of conferencing systems manufactured at its unit in Arasanoor, South Tamil Nadu near Madurai.

A&T’s range of made-in-India PTZ cameras boast advanced AI-driven features and a user-friendly camera management software, making them perfect for various applications, including lecture recording for educational institutions and Judicial court halls.

Sathya Kumar, A&T’s Solution Head, says: “A&T’s PTZ cameras with advanced AI-driven features make them an ideal choice for educational institutions.”

He adds: “Karnavati University is a great example of the diverse applications of A&T's PTZ cameras. The university has incorporated these cameras into their classrooms for lecture recording and streaming, interactive classes, and webinars."

The AI-driven features of A&T’s PTZ cameras are varied for different applications. Presenter tracking ensures that the camera always focuses on the presenter, regardless of their movements. Preset tracking allows users to save and recall specific camera positions automatically, making it easy to switch between different views. Motion-based auto tracking provides a seamless experience by smoothly adjusting the camera's focus and angle to capture the presenter's movements. These cameras also support streaming, making virtual learning more engaging and interactive. Additionally, it facilitates lecture recording and archiving for future reference.

Similarly, A&T’s PTZ cameras have also found great utility in the Judiciary for hybrid courts. They are currently operational in the High Courts of Karnataka and Uttarakhand.

In these modern courtrooms, A&T cameras have revolutionized the way proceedings are conducted. Hearings are currently conducted in hybrid mode, with some participants present in the court and others joining remotely. With these cameras in place in the court hall, remote participants get a clear view of the Honourable Judge, the court officials and others.

A&T conferencing cameras have enhanced the experience of hybrid court proceedings and improved access to justice in the legal sector. Although only in initial stages, two state High Courts have taken a lead in creating systems that are designed for the future. In future phases of the same system, the A&T cameras are expected play a crucial role in creating a modern, AI driven judicial system for the Courts.

Ashwin Desai, founder and MD of A&T, says: “As we look ahead to the future, our vision is to remain at the forefront of innovation and excellence. We will continuously deliver cutting-edge video collaboration solutions that empower organizations to connect, collaborate and thrive in today’s digital world.”

He adds: “On the 25th Anniversary of A&T, I thank all our customers and valuable partners for their continued support and trust in our brand."
