Mahajak Development deployed modern meeting room solutions from Harman Professional at the Bank of Thailand in Bangkok.
The main conference room 155 located on the 5th floor of the building received a digital facelift with an AV control system.
Pongsakorn Kanchanachayphoom, director of professional product & solution at Mahajak Development, said: “The client was looking to revamp the old audio and visual set up in the meeting room with a more seamless and integrated system that would make meetings more productive. Previously, they had to manually turn each individual device on and off, which was time consuming. With the new Harman system, all functionality is accessible through an iPad where, at just a push of a button, users can now control all devices in the room simultaneously and select their desired display options with ease. In addition, there is a new auto-tracking camera system for videoconferencing.”
The system consists of different types of speakers to ensure surround sound and clarity. The JBL CBT 100LA-1 column speakers direct audio to the conference table for improved speech intelligibility. The JBL Control 14C/T coaxial ceiling loudspeakers over the table evenly distribute audio throughout the room.
All JBL loudspeakers are driven by Crown amplifiers, the CDI2/300 and XLS1502.
Lastly the ‘brains’ of the system, facilitating intelligent touch control of the meeting room’s functionality, is the AMX NX-2200 controller supplemented with external control boxes EXB-IO8 and an iPad that serves as a wireless user interface.
