Harman Professional establishes regional hub in Singapore

Harman Professional has announced the consolidation of its regional offices in Singapore. The office will be led by Thomas Marcher in the role of senior director for Asia Pacific.

Previously, Harman has maintained offices in both Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. The decision to merge was taken to establish a centralised operations centre to provide customers a single point of access.

Marcher said: “Having all our talent on one team, housed under one roof and providing partners and customers with a single point of access for all Harman Professional Solutions has to offer is a significant advantage. I am confident that this newly strengthened operations hub will be a boon to our customers and our team members alike.”

The move also sees the addition of Yusof Ahmad and Ace Yip to the Harman Professional team as regional sales manager and senior sales engineer respectively.

Ahmad joins the company having previously led distributor UniAudio as managing director, before which he was regional sales manager for Sennheiser Electronic Asia.

Yip arrives from Calrec Audio, where he served as product specialist for four years, having previously worked with ITE and SAE, Sennheiser, the Singapore Armed Forces and Sentosa Leisure Group.
