Hi-Tech Audio & Image delivered an audio overhaul for the NLAG Church in Chennai, where the company held a House of Worship event.
The 25,000-seater church is home to an L-Acoustics’ L2 system, delivered by Hi-Tech Audio & Image.
The L2 loudspeakers were selected for their cardioid functionality and J-shaped design, reflecting the shape of the audience area. These loudspeakers were able to be discreetly installed, limiting the impact of the audio system on worshippers.
Shaurya Gupta, Hi-Tech Audio & Image, explains: “As a house of worship church, the message is more important than the system. We didn’t want the system to be in the face of people who are coming to worship, and that’s why we chose the system.
“The NLAG team did a fantastic job on the acoustics, and that’s why the calibration took us half a day, otherwise it would have taken ages. Because the acoustical component was taken care of, we were able to deliver a masterful job.”
