Legrand AV APAC hosted a seminar on building adaptability into conferencing spaces held at Hong Kong Shatin Hyatt Regency Hotel, on October 28, 2022, in collaboration with its technology partner Univox by Edin and its distributor for Hong Kong EduServe.
A focus of the event was support for immersive conference experiences with Microsoft Teams Front Row. Ken Lam, regional sales manager for HK & Macau, Legrand AV APAC, presented how products from Legrand AV enable a wider field of view. These included Da-Lite 21:9 ultra-wide projection screens with up-to-16K high-resolution and ambient light rejecting screens technology, Chief XXL display wall mounts, and Vaddio IntelliSht-M, a Microsoft Teams Room certified auto-tracking camera.
Invariably, the Vaddio EasyIP AVoIP ecosystem drew significant attention when Patrick Chan, regional product manager, Legrand AV APAC, delivered a live demonstration during of the Vaddio EasyIP AVoIP ecosystem at the event as well.
Last but not least, Mr. Andersson from Univox by Edin presented a hearing loop system to provide adaptable and inclusive video conference facility. Mr. Andersson is the convener of IEC 60118-4, the standard for induction-loop systems.
