Shure announces seminars on networked audio for Southeast Asia

Shure has announced a series of seminars on the topic of networked audio and its application to be held across five cities in Southeast Asia. One day events will be hosted in Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia.

The seminar aims to equip AV and IT professionals with audio networking basics and to teach them how to incorporate Shure networked audio systems into designed solutions. The seminars will be hosted by the Shure Audio Institute with support from Audinate.

Among the technology highlights, Shure will introduce its new IntelliMix P300 audio conferencing processor, which is available as of this month. The seminar will further offer application examples and best practice for the Shure Microflex Advance array microphones, as well as audio management solutions for Microflex wireless and ULX-D digital wireless systems. Addressing the increasing need for network security, Shure will also introduce its new Network Audio Encryption technology.

Andy Wan, director of integrated systems and enterprise sales at Shure, said: “Digital, networked technology has opened up new opportunities to deliver cost-effective, flexible, and easy-to-use audio solutions for a range of an organisation’s activities. While the technology is advancing rapidly, we want to make sure that AV and IT professionals who are new to this domain understand the benefits and implications of running AV via a corporate network.”
