Hi-Tech Audio & Image hosted a L-Acoustics advanced system training event in New Delhi, led by Sergey Becker, application engineer, L-Acoustics.
The three-day programme brought audio professionals, system engineers, consultants, rental companies, systems integrators, and freelancers from across India, designed for professionals looking to deepen their expertise in L-Acoustics technologies.
The programme combined advanced technical education with real-world applications, with a curriculum structured to build knowledge progressively over three days.
Held from 7th-9th July 2026, saw day one focus on variable curvature line source (VCLS) principles, helping participants understand line source behaviour and system design fundamentals. The second day explored sub low frequencies, covering low-frequency system behaviour, optimisation, and deployment strategies. The programme ended on day three with a session focussed on loudspeaker system calibration, where attendees gained hands-on knowledge of measurement techniques, system alignment, and calibration workflows used in professional live sound environments.
Becker went beyond the technical modules by sharing experiences from his own professional journey, drawing on real-world projects to demonstrate how the concepts covered during the training apply directly to live sound scenarios.
This approach emphasised that specialised training plays a significant role in building confidence, improving system performance, and solving practical challenges during live productions.
Becker explains: "It is my first time in India, and it has been an amazing experience. The training sessions were highly interactive, and it was great to engage with professionals who brought diverse experiences and thoughtful questions. I truly enjoyed meeting everyone and exchanging ideas throughout the programme."
The programme created an environment of collaborative learning, where participants actively engaged in technical discussions, exchanged experiences from live projects, and explored system deployment strategies alongside the L-Acoustics engineering team.

Visitors also visited Hi-Tech Audio & Image’s experience centre for demonstrations of immersive audio in a dedicated 11.1.6 L-Acoustics home theatre, featuring X8i, 5XT, SOKA, SB10i, SYVA SUB, and LA7.16i products. The live demonstration gave attendees the opportunity to experience AV technologies in a real-world environment while connecting theoretical concepts with practical applications.
Hi-Tech also plans to introduce dedicated training programmes for more of its global partner brands, bringing internationally recognised education to professionals across India in multiple cities nationwide.
