Videopro appoints Mike Ricketts as chief revenue officer

Videopro has appointed experienced industry executive, Mike Ricketts as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), strengthening its executive leadership team as the company continues to expand as a national AV integrator and managed services provider.

Ricketts brings extensive experience across the Australian technology and audiovisual sectors, spanning sales leadership, operations, technology integration and managed services. His career has included senior leadership roles across the AV industry and complex technology deployments for government, education and enterprise customers.

As chief revenue officer, Ricketts will take responsibility for Videopro’s revenue strategy and go-to-market execution, with a particular focus on accelerating growth.

Videopro CEO, Cameron Douglas, said Ricketts’ appointment comes at an important point in the company's transformation: “Videopro has changed significantly over the past several years. B2B now represents 86% of our Group revenue, and we are active in most major Australian cities. Mike has a deep knowledge of our industry, but more importantly, he understands how customer needs are changing.”

Ricketts said the opportunity to join Videopro came at a particularly exciting stage in the company’s evolution: “Videopro has a rich history in the Australian AV industry, but what attracted me most is the ambition for what comes next. The market is changing. Customers increasingly expect their technology partners to take responsibility not simply for delivering a project, but for the ongoing performance, support and lifecycle of their technology environments. Videopro has the capability, customer relationships and ambition to play a much larger role in that market. I'm looking forward to working with Cameron and the broader team to build on the momentum already underway.”

The appointment follows a period of strong growth for Videopro’s professional business. In FY26, the company’s professional AV integration business grew 26% year-on-year.

Douglas said the appointment also reflects Videopro’s commitment to building a large-scale Australian-owned business in an industry that has experienced considerable international consolidation: “We see an opportunity to build something different: a large-scale Australian-owned business that can compete at the highest level, while retaining the relationships, culture and local decision-making that have defined Videopro for more than four decades.”
