Symetrix has announced its T-5 Gen 2 touchscreen controller, including cosmetic changes to the T-5 controller such as the removal of the external bezel.
The T-5 Gen 2 features a five-in capacitive-touch LCD screen that mounts in either US or EU back boxes, able to be mounted on the wall or in an optional desk stand.
T-5 screens can be developed in Composer software, with designers able to access a toolset for manipulating images, text and control objects.
Logos can be added, as well as instructions and backgrounds, with custom buttons able to be created that link to multiple pages.
Screens are exported as SymVue files, with SymVue allowing for the creation of customised GUI’s. SymVue is also available in Windows or web browsers supporting HTML5 via the Symetrix Control Server, with mobile devices able to log on to hosted SymVue pages, with identical layouts and screens able to be exported to the T-5 and Control Server for a synergetic look across permanent and mobile controls.
