Audi unveiled its AI:ME concept car at CES 2020, designed as a ‘third living space’ in addition to the home and the workplace which fuses AI and AR to create a smart driving/travel experience.
Two iOS developers (Steve Troughton-Smith and Guilherme Rambo) have discovered evidence of a stereo AR feature called StarBoard (the software needed for compatible AR hardware) in the latest iOS update.
Bose has introduced its own brand of sunglasses, called Frames, which combine traditional sunglasses with the functionality and performance of wireless headphones. Frames will be available globally in Spring 2019, and will be compatible with Bose's audio AR platform. The product, aimed at consumers, could also have applications for use in theme parks, visitor attractions and museums as visitor guide audio systems.
