AET, Cavitak, and World EMS have announced a strategic manufacturing deal to establish a new LED display manufacturing facility in Mehsana, Gujarat.
Display manufacturer AET is working with its Indian distributor Cavitak and has entered into a strategic manufacturing collaboration with World EMS, working together to scale up localised assembly and manufacturing at World EMS’ plant in Mehsana.
The deal aims to significantly scale up domestic production, advancing India’s ‘Make in India’ initiative. The collaborative move will shift manufacturing operations to a significantly larger, high-capacity industrial footprint at the Mehsana plant, combining AET’s products with Cavitak’s distribution network and World EMS’ electronic assembly infrastructure.
Lawrie Hon, AET, explains: “Moving into this larger facility in Mehsana represents a massive leap forward for our long-term vision in India. By combining our proprietary Micro LED and fine-pitch innovations with the industrial scale of World EMS and the deep market reach of Cavitak, we are building an increasingly localised ecosystem for display technology in India.”
The new facility aims to meet the domestic and commercial demand for indoor, outdoor, and micro LED displays across India.
The Mehsana plant will focus on assembly, automated production lines, and quality testing standards to build products tailored to he Indian market, while also laying the groundwork for future global exports.

This new facility is also expected to catalyse local job creation for skilled electronics engineers and technicians in Gjuarat.
