Hexogon Group expands APAC projection fleet with Panasonic PT-RQ45K projectors

Hexogon Group is expanding its APAC rental and staging fleet with the addition of up to 100 Panasonic PT-RQ45K projectors.

The investment will support the company’s work across large-scale events, projection mapping and immersive productions throughout the region. Headquartered in Singapore, Hexogon Group specialises in AV, lighting and multimedia show integration, with operations across Asia Pacific.

The new projectors build on Hexogon’s existing Panasonic RQ35 fleet, which has been deployed on major projection mapping and live event projects.

Adrian Goh, CEO, Hexogon Group of Companies, said: “Our existing Panasonic RQ35 fleet has supported many large-scale projection mapping and live event projects across the region. By adding the PT-RQ45K, we can expand our high-brightness projection capabilities while maintaining the operational familiarity and reliability that are important for rental and staging applications.”

The fleet expansion follows Hexogon’s record-setting projection mapping work in Singapore in 2025. For the SG60 celebrations and UOB’s 90th anniversary, Hexogon Group was involved in A Show of Unity, a projection mapping display on UOB Plaza 1 that achieved three Guinness World Records: largest light output in a projected image, longest architectural projection-mapped display, and highest projection image on a building.

The PT-RQ45K is Panasonic’s 42,000-lumen 4K 3-Chip DLP laser projector, designed for live events, rental and staging applications.

The addition strengthens Hexogon’s high-brightness projection capabilities as it prepares for upcoming regional productions across APAC.
