PMA Research (PMA) has published its latest sell-through tracking reports on direct-view LED displays being sold by leading North American distributors, pro AV dealers, and systems integrators who typically serve commercial markets.
PMA’s quarterly March 2026 Direct-View LED Tracking report revealed that although dvLED sales growth has slowed somewhat, it is still on a positive trajectory for 2026.
For the first quarter of 2026, direct-view revenues were up 2% versus 1Q2025. Other display product categories showed year-over-year declines versus the inflated sales of 1Q2025, which spiked due to tariff-induced buying to avoid potential price increases.
In the distribution channel, direct-view LED sales continued to shift to all-in-one displays versus custom configurations. Year-to-date, 53% of the revenues came from AIO models compared to 49% for the first quarter of last year. In March, direct-view LED revenues grew by low single-digits month-over-month.
In the pro AV channel, the opposite was true. Custom configurations generated more than 50% of the dvLED revenues in March vs. all-in-one systems. This makes sense given that custom dvLED walls require the expertise of a systems integrator for configuration and installation.
